Let’s rewind to the early days of understanding cardiovascular disease. there were two prominent theories: one proposed by Ancel  Keys in America, suggesting saturated fats as the culprit, and another by John Yudkin in Britain, pointing towards excessive sugar intake.  Fast forward fifty years, and after rigorous scientific research, we now know the truth. It’s not fat but sugar that’s been the real danger all along.

What Fueled Our Health Crisis?

The widely accepted “diet-heart hypothesis” led us astray for decades, promoting low-fat, high-carbohydrate diets as the solution to heart disease. Unfortunately, this approach only fueled our health crisis. Obesity rates soared immediately following the adoption of these dietary guidelines, with Type 2 diabetes soon following suit.
